Using Stream Tracker observations to predict streamflow duration

The map below was developed using a subset of the Stream Tracker data (black circle locations) to train and test a machine learning algorithm that predicts stream flow duration of non-perennial streams. This map represents how long streams typically flow between April and September. A value of 1 means the stream is likely to be flowing continuously during the spring and summer, whereas lower values mean the stream often dries during the summer.
